If you are travelling in Japan, Why don't you try to visit Komoro , Nagano prefecture, to enjoy real Country Side unlike such Big cities as Tokyo or Osaka ? You can feel Fresh Air, real calmness, Stars and Moon, daily fresh Vegetables, Water, you can feel with your own eyes, tongue, fingers,  Too much ordinary things, you really feel Valuable. No need to be rushed, 'No schedule for tomorrow is needed.  I am writing something I personally feel on country side for overseas trvellers in English so that you do NOT need to become BAKUGAI travellers. You can just come and sit next to native people to touch real Japanese Culture or History, etc, while drinking good sake  or in Onsen, Hot Spar.
